Head-wobblin’ Goblins crash

Not content with being the centre of attention for his on-course work a week earlier, everyone’s mate Matt “Big Foot” Milne has taken things to a whole new level off it this week.

If – for some godforsaken reason – you feel the need to see what Matt gets up to when he goes on a road trip with his bride, there was a bootleg version of “Big Foot After Dark” that somehow made its way into exceedingly dark areas of the interweb.

So maybe before the surely-soon-to-be-beatified Linda Milne tightens the reins on our main man, we need to take advantage of his words of wisdom as we dissect another enormous weekend of Neville Richards Premier League entertainment.

And we say “entertainment” because there’s certainly some action that surely doesn’t qualify as “golf”.

Big Foot let a couple off lightly given the inordinately large number of “Jamesys” this week, but the same cannot be said for Alan Kerry, who has finally earnt the big fella’s wrath in a spray you’ll have to hear to believe.

At the other end of the scale, a host of Tornadoes – led by Travis Mathew prizewinner Craig Duncanson – finally heard the sage words of the Malaysian Mufti and played like they were on a mission from a higher power.

With a host of horrendous team scores – including the formerly table-topping Goblins blowing up in the Survivor stakes –  the Tornadoes blew the Bullies off the park to totally reshape the ladder for about the sixth time this season.

The Peakers completed their long march from seventh after Round 2 to first on the table, while the Warrriors sneaked back into the top four at the expense of the Bullies, whose percentage took a hammering.

And further down, the Hookers kept their slim finals hopes alive with Wayne Brown leading them to a shock win over the Goblins.

All in all, it’s a bit of a circus.

We know no other way.
