Kingy in pink for finale

Well, we’ve been at it for more than four months and it has come down to the Bullies and the Pirates.
The defending champs, inspired by their spiritual leader Peter “Scubahub”, played arguably their best match of the year on preliminary final day on Saturday, booking another shot at minor premiers the Bullies for all the marbles in 2023.
And effervescent Pirate Brian (insert nickname here) King was so enthused about his team’s prospects in the grand final, he practically begged for “Bigfoot” Milne to help him out with some pink “hair” spray.
Well, at least that’s what we’ll be telling the constabulary.
So here we go, the second last show of the year with guests including Scuba, Kingy and Kevin “Hafeez” Hudson to help us gear up for the big day.
Good luck to both teams – we’re all looking forward to celebrating on Saturday evening at the presentation and Drayton Medal count.
